41 quai Rambaud
08 – 27 Sept. 2015
Tuesday-Sunday 12h-18h, free entrance
Very close to the Biennale main venue, the Sucrière, in the former Port Authority on quai Rambaud, the exhibition Passage offers a double look at the two very dynamic European scenes of Lyon and Leipzig. Through the images–whether virtual, mental, printed, painted or drawn–the selected works by Thibault Brunet, Marc Desgrandchamps, Stefan Fischer, Margret Hoppe, Tamami Iinuma, Karim Kal, Oliver Kossack, Aurélie Pétrel, Laurent Proux, Andreas Schulze and Mengzhi Zheng evoke reproduction issues not only concerning handling, but also in terms of transcription volume and, above all, giving a spatial experience.
Curators: Ilina Koralova and Isabelle Bertolotti
The exhibition is supported by Institut français-Ville de Lyon, Rhône-Alpes Region, City of Leipzig, Art Entreprise, ATC Groupe, Le Mat’électrique, and Grolsch France.
