Veduta interrogates the  Modern in the light of the Floating worlds of the 14th Biennale de Lyon. From the macLYON collection and in dialogue with the inhabitants and partners of the areas, the exhibitions will generate parallel worlds, places of convergence, spaces for exchange, places for discussion, sensitive experiences and poetic visions.

How can we reinvente modern visual narratives through experiences that are disparate, sometimes shared but always human? The exhibition presents works by Philippe Droguet, William Kentridge, Alain Pouillet, Henri Ughetto and Carmelo Zagari, selected by the Association Les Rencontres Artistiques and the macLYON in partnership with Veduta.

À l’Écoute des Mondes
In the 1960s, with John Cage and rock and roll, the concert hall disappeared and music was turned into "sound". A story told through an other-worldly, immersive and sensory work, the Handphone table (1978) by Lara Anderson which proposes you to listen with your whole body, crossed by the sound material.

The exhibition tells a story about the convergence of cultures and distinct zones, through the juxtaposition of works from the macLYON and works from Massinissa Selmani and Marius Dansou, orchestrated by people living in the district of Gerland.

Cycle et regenerations 
A collective dialogue based on the word Modern and its regenerative and revolutionary potential : the presentation of a work from the macLYON collection, chosen by a group of people who live in Oullins, generates a conversation devoted to life cycles and multigenerational historical visions.

Futurs Alternatifs

Attentive to subtle phenomena and the song of the worlds we are passing through or in which we live, this exhibition explores the methods of visual and sound observation of a certain number of artists, in collaboration with the Association Les Rencontres Artistiques and a group of people from Saint-Cyr-au-Mont-d'Or and Vaulx-en-Velin.

One of the artwork will also be presented at the Georges Perec Library in Vaulx-en-Velin.
